Information About The Program
The aim of the Economics and Finance Program is to equip students with the ability to use basic economics, business, and finance knowledge and current analysis techniques effectively. Hence, its graduates will be able to produce knowledge and make policy recommendations.
In addition to the mandatory courses on economics, business administration, and finance, our students have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of their choice with elective courses such as economics of education, energy economics, health economics, bank management, financial management, and financial modeling.

The Economics and Finance Program aims to equip students with a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of economics, finance, and business. The curriculum is designed to develop students’ technical proficiency, analytical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
In the early years of the program, students take core courses such as mathematics, statistics, economic theory, finance, and accounting, which provide essential analytical tools. From the third year onwards, students engage with intermediate and advanced courses—including Investment and Portfolio Management, Bank Management, and Derivatives and Risk Management—allowing them to deepen their expertise in financial theory and practice. In addition, courses such as Machine Learning for Business Decisions and Financial Econometrics enable students to develop advanced data analysis skills and apply quantitative methods to real-world economic and financial problems, including policy evaluation and decision-making.
Graduates of the program develop a distinctive skill set that integrates economics, finance, and modern data-driven techniques, enabling them to gain a strong competitive advantage in the job market. The practical experience acquired throughout the program further enhances their readiness for professional careers, positioning them to succeed in a wide range of roles across economics, finance, and business.

The Economics and Finance Program is conducted in-person, supported by computer laboratories, and library facilities.
