Program Profile
The Electronics and Communication Engineering program trains students to become engineers with the knowledge and scientific foundation required to keep up with rapidly advancing electronics and telecommunications technologies. The program covers topics such as the processing, transmission, detection, and storage of information like data, voice, and video; the design of electronic circuits and systems to perform these functions; antenna theory; electromagnetic field and wave theory and applications; as well as the physics and production technologies of semiconductor electronic components

Program Learning Environments
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at ITU carries out its undergraduate program in Electronics and Communication Engineering effectively with its large faculty and modern laboratory facilities. Education and training are conducted through formal and distance learning methods. In addition to theoretical courses, students receive education in various practical environments where they can learn engineering applications. These practical environments consist of applications supported by the department's laboratories, workshops, and simulation software. Additionally, through industrial collaborations, students gain sector-specific experience by participating in workplace training and internships in the field of electronics and communication engineering.

Measurement and Evaluation
Student success is evaluated in consideration of Articles 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, and 25 of the Istanbul Technical University Undergraduate Education and Training Regulation.
