Application Requirements (For T.C Nationality): Graduate GPA 3.00 and above /4.00 (76.66 ve üzeri / 100) ALES (Quantitative) 75 (New GRE Quantitative 155, Old GRE Quantitative 700 ). Minimum GPA from undergraduate to doctorate must be 3.00/4 (76.66/100). Applicants who will apply for PhD programs after their undergraduate level degree are required to have minimum 80 from ALES. Applicants who have graduated from, or are in the process of graduating from, Biochemistry, Biology, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Pharmacy, Physics, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Teaching, Chemistry Profession, Material Science and Engineering, Materials Science and Nanotechnology Engineering, Materials Science and Nanoengineering, Materials Science and Technologies, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology-Genetics and Biotechnology, Molecular Biotechnology, Nano Science and Nano Engineering, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Nanotechnology Engineering, Polymer Science and Technology / Polimer Bilim ve Teknolojisi, Polymer Materials Engineering, Polymer Science and Technology / Polimer Bilimi ve Teknolojisi, Textile Engineering programs may apply. Standardized Test Scores: ALES / GRE: A minimum ALES Quantitative score of 75 is required. Alternatively, a minimum GRE Quantitative score of 700 (old system) or 155 (new system) is accepted.
GPA Requirements: For applicants with a Master’s degree, the minimum GPA must be 3.00/4.00 (76.66/100).
For applicants applying directly to a PhD program with a Bachelor’s degree, the minimum undergraduate GPA must be 3.00/4.00 (76.66/100).
Interview: To be considered successful, candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50 out of 100 in the interview examination.
Candidates who have graduated from the following undergraduate or graduate programs are eligible to apply:
Basic Sciences: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Chemist (B.Sc.), Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Pharmacy.
Education and Engineering: Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Education, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering, Food Engineering, Textile Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Nanotechnology Engineering, Polymer Materials Engineering.
Materials and Nanotechnology: Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Materials Science and Technologies.
Polymer and Molecular Sciences: Polymer Science and Technology, Molecular Biotechnology, Molecular Biology-Genetics and Biotechnology.
