Materials Engineering Master of Science Program

The information and program qualifications related to the Materials Engineering Master of Science Program, under the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering of the Graduate School, are summarized below.

Information About The Program

Since ancient history; developments in the quality of human life, have always been depended on the development of new materials and processe. Without new materials and efficient production methods, machines, computers, automobiles, aircraft, communication equipment and construction materials would not have been possible. Materials scientists and engineers have been accomplishing great achievements in designing and developing new materials to a better understanding and control of materials structures, properties, no closes and performans.
The scope of materials science and engineering is to design and understand relationship among microstructure, production methods properties, and performance of materials. In order to solve engineering problems materials science and engineering works with other engineering and science disciplines. Understanding the perfect structure of the natural materials and production of similar synthetic materials for the service of humanity are also among the topics that will be prominent today and in the future.
